Assemblywoman Quijano has a great respect for civic duty and sponsoring bills beneficial for the armed forces and veteran’s community is imperative for her.

Her most recent sponsored legislation for this community include the following:

A Quijano-sponsored bill to honor fallen first responders with memorial sign program became law. To Quijano, the law is dedicated to the hometown heroes who have dedicated their life to saving others’ lives. Additionally, Quijano also sponsored a law to establish a voluntary taxpayer deduction for New Jersey’s National Guard and Reserve. This law allows taxpayers to voluntarily contribute money to help New Jersey military personnel and families in need. Read more here:
